Special Delivery prepares
meals Monday through Friday in two shifts:
Morning
Shift:
Between 8 am and 11 am Monday
through Friday, volunteers prepare the breakfast and luncheon meals. Tasks
include preparing sandwiches, soup, juice, and salads as well as packaging
and
organizing the meal deliveries for distribution later in the day.
Afternoon Shift:
Between 2 pm and 4 pm Monday
through Friday, volunteers dish up a hot dinner meal that has been
prepared fresh that day. Tasks include packaging the meals in
accordance with dietary needs and placing the meals in labeled bags for
distribution to the clients.
